Problematic feet run in my family. My mom's dealt with painful cracked heels and bunions her whole life, and despite giving up most high heels in my early twenties, bunions and ingrown toenails are already rearing their ugly head for me. Rough heels aren't yet an obstacle, though—and according to the rave reviews for Pritech's Electric Callus Remover, they don't have to be.
The Pritech is one of Amazon's best-selling foot files (sounds like Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler picked up a new hobby, no?), with over 18,000 five-star ratings to its name. Unlike the majority of its best-selling comrades, the remover doesn't make you scrape off dead skin by hand, which is great news for the squeamish among us, or anyone who saw the PedEgg commercial one too many times.
Instead, the Pritech uses rolling heads to sand down calluses, like a battery-powered pedicurist. According to shoppers, the rechargeable tool gives results better than any salon. "I know that I have, by far, the funkiest, driest feet ever seen by man. I've tried 'As Seen on TV' products, callus removers, razor blades, exfoliators, [and] slathering my feet in coconut oil and wearing socks, to no avail," writes one person of their experience. "This is a wonderful product and I am so grateful to have found it. If this can smooth MY feet, it could remove bark off a tree."

Strong words for a strong product, yet per more reviewers, the callus remover doesn't hurt at all (even people with sensitive, "super, super ticklish feet" love the process). One person whose dry feet had them "suffering" and tearing up everything in their path says the tool revealed "amazingly" soft and smooth skin, and it even provides relief for nurses on their feet all day. "I can't explain how happy I am. My feet were so hard, and oh my goodness, [they] feel so, so soft," one wrote of the spa-worthy results.
Dancers see equally awe-inspiring effects from the device. "Best money I have ever spent," one said of its impact on a large, painful callus. "I haven't felt this kind of relief in years." More shoppers say other callus removers and pumices don't hold a candle to the Pritech, especially thanks to the three included heads with different degrees of roughness. And the whole body is waterproof, so you can take it into the shower or bath and tackle your heels after they've softened up.
"My feet feel and look awesome, even if I can't see them anymore," concludes a pregnant reviewer. "I would hands-down pay for this again and buy replacement rollers, rather than another $35 every two weeks" for pedicures. Farewell, "lobster claw feet"—whether you're heading to the beach for a last taste of summer or you just don't want your socks to snag on your skin, the Pritech will do you right.
