Sandy Squillo of Clarendon Hills checks out artwork during the Glenview Art League’s Outdoor Summer Art Fair in Glenview on Saturday. Roughly 40 artists are participating this year.
Hundreds of art lovers browsed the works of dozens of artists on Saturday during the Glenview Art League’s Outdoor Summer Art Fair in Glenview.
Money exchanged hands as patrons looked over the eye-catching pieces by photographers, jewelry makers, woodcarvers and painters.
“The artists are excited to be back,” said Sandy Sheagren, co-chair for the summer art fair.
Last year, the event was canceled because of COVID-19. Roughly 40 artists are participating this year.
Ann Massie of Park Ridge checked out the photography works of Brian Horan. She bought a print of the old Marshall Field’s clock that Horan photographed years ago.
The two-day event continues from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Lyon Elementary School, 1335 Waukegan Road, Glenview.
