While scrolling through the celeb outfits for today's Look of the Day, I was totally taken aback by Kate Hudson's. (In the best way possible, of course!) We've been hearing so much about the revival of the 2000s mini skirt that when I saw Hudson wearing a denim maxi — the big sister, if you will, of the denim mini — I just knew it had to be today's focal point.
Jean anything had a bit of a shakeup in the past year (and then some). With sweats, leggings, and basically anything made from soft, cozy fabric reigning supreme throughout the pandemic, rigid denim was put on the back burner. But now, we're seeing a resurgence of the blues in every shape, form, and length imaginable, as evident by Hudson's denim maxi skirt.
Though we're not sure of the brand behind the style, we are sure that Hudson is about to cause quite the frenzy in the fashion world. Along with distinct seams along the front and sides, her floor-grazing skirt has a versatile medium-wash that looks great with her cropped white sweater. Sandals, a neon green face mask, and two braids round out Hudson's look.
