Katie Holmes and Jennifer Lopez have a different sense of style. J.Lo wears low-rise jeans whereas Holmes will stick to easygoing wide-leg denim. J.Lo reaches for bedazzled bodysuits and three-inch high platform sneakers while Holmes prefers a classic white tee and her trusty white Rag & Bone kicks. We love both of the A-lister's style choices (and have copied our fair share of outfits from both), but what we love even more is when these two make the same style choices. It's a rarity, but it just happened.
Holmes was photographed in New York City wearing the quintessential NYC uniform: all-black. Her outfit was also a little bit unexpected, seeing as the East Coast just went through a heatwave where it was quite hard to imagine wearing anything other than a swimsuit. But Holmes appeared to be ready for fall (and after this week, so are we!), opting for a sweatsuit set from Champion. She wore black sweatpants and a matching black cropped sweatshirt that was noteworthy for another reason: Lopez owns it, too.
