Cuddle-up-in-your-comfiest-clothes season or, well, fall, is here. Days are getting shorter, nights are getting longer, the will to g outside is dwindling, but the bright side of it all? It's totally okay to step outside in your sweatpants and hoodie. No one will bat an eye because everyone's trying to be just as cozy, too. If you're not really into the sweat-set situation, though — kind of like me — Claire Danes just found the most elevated take that I'm really, really into right now.
It's a case of "One time I saw Cady Heron wearing army pants and flip-flops. So I bought army pants and flip-flops." Only this time it's more like, "One time I saw Claire Danes wearing a sweatshirt dress and clogs, so I bought a sweatshirt dress and clogs." The actress opted for a sweatshirt-meets-midi-dress situation in gray. It has a hoodie, side slits for extra movement, and though we're not 100 percent sure, what appear to be roomy side pockets.
With a salad in hand, Danes looked stylish, content, and, most importantly, comfortable while walking around NYC. She paired her sweatshirt midi — which is about to become my new favorite dress style — with brown clog-like slides and a black backpack.
