Vernon Hills Days, also known as Vernon Hills Summer Celebration, will take place Thursday through Sunday, July 14-17, in Century Park, 1001 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. The event will feature carnival rides, music, bingo, fireworks, children’s activities, and more.
Carnival hours are 6-10 p.m. Thursday, 6-11 p.m. Friday, 1-11 p.m. Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. Ride tickets are $1 each or 44 for $40. Wristband specials are available for $35 on Thursday and on Friday from 6-10 p.m.; $30 from 1-5 p.m. and $35 from 6-10 p.m. Saturday; and $30 Sunday.
Musical performances include Temporary Binge with covers of favorite music from today and yesterday on Thursday; award-winning local band HiFi Superstar and legendary classic rock band Jefferson Starship on Friday; and Mike & Joe and Brett Scallions, former lead singer for Fuel, on Saturday. Sunday will feature Karaoke on the Big Stage.

The Kiddie Corner will feature face painting, balloon artists and free crafts under the Big Tent.
The eighth annual Bags Tournament will take place on Sunday. Participants must be 18 or older. To register, visit vhdays.com/bags-tourney.
