The Metropolis Performing Arts Centre canceled the remaining performances of “A Christmas Carol” in response to a breakthrough case of COVID-19 among its fully vaccinated cast, according to theater administrators.
The production, which starred Steve Connell as Ebenezer Scrooge, was scheduled to run through Friday, Dec. 24.
Metropolis representatives will contact ticket holders with information on ticketing options.
Performances of The Second City holiday revue “It’s a Wild, Wacky, Wonderful Life” have been canceled through Sunday, Dec. 26. They will resume Tuesday, Dec. 28.
