There's so much to break down about this latest look from Kate Middleton, like the fact that she's worn those See by Chloe combat boots since 2019. The royal swapped her business-chic staples for more down-to-earth ones while visiting the Alexandra Park Sports Hub in Scotland. There, she met with young scouts and learned about their efforts to raise awareness about climate change. For the outing, Middleton relied on some tried-and-true pieces for being out in the wild: a black turtleneck, black skinny jeans (gasp), her go-to lace-up combat boots, and last but certainly not least, a quilted vest from Ganni.
That quilted vest Middleton is wearing has become an unlikely hero of fall 2021 — not just because of this recent sighting, but also because it's exceptionally comfy and really, really cute. Oprah, who just featured a similar style on her Favorite Things list for 2021, and supermodels like Bella Hadid have also shown a liking for these puffy, textured toppers. Her exact vest Ganni is sold out (no surprise there!), but this one from Barbour, another one of her go-to brands, looks nearly identical.
