Fall-themed family entertainment is what the 37th annual Scarecrow Weekend is all about. The St. Charles Business Alliance will bring the popular fall festival back to downtown St. Charles from Friday, Oct. 7 through Sunday, Oct. 9. Admission is free.
The Scarecrow Contest takes place throughout the weekend and will give visitors the opportunity to vote on their favorite scarecrows. The four scarecrow categories are: Individual/Family, Business, Club/Not-for-Profits/Schools, and Mechanical/Mega. The scarecrows will be displayed on 1st Street and Riverside Avenue and throughout downtown, and the Mechanical/Mega scarecrows will be displayed in Lincoln Park.
